RTI wont help U directly in this matter. If U are aggrieved with the person (whose a/c no. is with U) file complaint/FIR with police & they ll search him/her for U .

RTI PART: If police dept. doesnt take action/ not satisfied with the action, U can file RTI application (it ll speed up the process)with PIO of police dept. for action taken report.
