Hello All,
I am from Bangalore and a potential buyer for a new flat for self occupation ( potentially Purva fountain square in marathalli ). The general Manager of Purva Fountain Square has issued a letter to all existing flat owners that the registration of property has been stopped due to a karnataka government order dated 18th May 09 indicating that till such time the assessment of property tax and Khata sctivities are complete by the BBMP registration of properties are suspended with immediate effect until further notification. Therefore the registration committed by the company cannot be held now.
The time frame for resolution is 4 months
Queries
- How can I know the real reason for this government order stopping all property registration in Purva Fountain. Can this be due to disperancy in papers of the land on which the construction has taken place?
- Until such time all issues are sorted can a owner sell of his flat to a potential buyer. Will the buyer get a possesion letter
- Can Purva issue possesion letters to original allotees until this is resolved?
- Why is Purva charging VAT & Service Tax on every sale and who can verify that this is legally correct or not.
Thank you
