Edit passport application pdf

I have applied for passport re-issue through online facility. The day before my appointment, I noticed that few information needs to be corrected.

In case, if i need to go for fresh online application, I could see the next appointment only after 10 days.

My question is, whether I edit the genterated PDF application form with a PDF editor and submit the same.( since i need to travel shortly, I dont want to wait for next appointment after 10 days)

Please clarify on this.
