I had applied to RPFC, Kandivali, Mumbai to transfer my PF account to RPFC, Pune in Nov 2004. RPFC,Kandivali,Mumbai had informed me that the process of transfer of PF account takes about 6 months and thus i contacted them on several occassions after 6 months as the transfer did not happen. Finally in May 2007, it transpired that PF office had lost the papers. As a result i had to resubmit the form 13 and other stuff for transfer. This time i got a copy of the same with acknowledgement from PF office Mumbai on 18/06/2007 which i still have with me. When queried with RPFC,Kandivali after a couple of weeks, i was shown evidence that the transfer had been effected to RPFC,Pune by a letter dated 29/06/07. However till date, i have been following up with RPFC, Pune, but each time have been told that they have to recieve papers from RPFC,Mumbai. This cannot go on like this now any further as it seems that a lack of accountability within the PF office fuels inordinate delays. Thus, can i request you to suggest the best point of contact who can help me progres this. It is really frustrating and distressing for me to follow up for so long. I am keen on the transfer as i do not want ot loose out on the interest accrued over the PF savings over the past few years. |

Please refer my blog on PF and file RTI application with PIO of Kandivali Office, asking for status and certified photocopy of documents indicating transfer of account to pune. Once you get these details/papers follow up with pune office and if necessary file rti application by refering to my blog "any thing pending with govt.?". U can get guidelines and proforma also on the blog. Lato ke bhoot bato se nahi mante!!!
