valid Toll road

Hi RTI,
Is there any list of authorised Toll plazas in Maharashtra along with Toll contract period, available ? OR is there a way to identify a authorised toll collection plaza

Somedays back I was driving from Pune to Alibaug and noticed many Toll Plazas on the way. 2 of Them, 1 at Khopoli just before entering Mum-Pune express highway and second is near to Ispat Plant.
The thing I noticed was some drivers, specially, Tourist Car drivers, did not pay any toll at these plazas. When I asked the attendent, he replied that they had some sort of Pass but when I asked some of the drivers they said that they did not have nay pass and never pay the Toll. They (Drivers) also told me at the Toll Plaza on Pen-Khopoli road that the toll collection period for the contracter is expired and he is not authorised to collect the toll. (Isn't that a criminal offence?)

So, next day on my way back (Alibaug-Pune), I did pass the toll plaza without paying any toll and no one stopped me for the same. Which was surprising. Should I had stopped at the Plaza, they would had collected the rent. Not that I speeded at the Toll, but no one even asked me to stop for it.

Can anyone please help me here?

The road on which the toll plaza is located can be a state road or a national highway.

Depending on what it is, file a RTI with the PIO of that department and ask for the information.
