Delay of Duplicate Passport applied on 09-07-2008

Dear Sir,

I have applied for my duplicate passport on 09-07-2008 and police enquiry came in Aug 08 but unfortunately i am not at my place at that time and they have updated like i am not staying in my place. Later i didnot get any update till Novermber when I visited passport office Visakhapatnam. They updated me this issue and asked me to pay of 5000 rupees as fine once i received a letter from them. I got the letter in the month of April, 2009 and i paid the same. Later they asked me to provide 3 personal forms and all support that also i have provided(3 times). Later they initiated second time police enquiry(June, 2009) this time they took my signature, left thumb impression and dispatched the letter to passport office in the same month on 24 th June, 2009. Then i visited passport office 4 times and got response like they didnot get the police report till now. Please do help me to solve this issue and this could be a constraint to my career, also my passport is going to expire on July, 2010 and i am very much worried about that also. Totaly I have paid Rs. 7500 /- and it is difficult to a middle class person to accumulate. Still the website shows me to submit the personal forms again with stay proof. There is no proper response from the passport office.
Also i sent mails to the RPO, Visakhapatnam in detail.

Sir, please help me to get my passport at the earliest and try to understand my situation.

U can file RTI application for the status of passport.You have to follow Central Govt. RTI Rules for payment of fees.
