    Unique Authority

    Hi,

    Am new to this community. Hello to all and have a question for you:

    Is there any unique athority, where we can request any information under RTI act? and is it available online?

    SODANI JI,

    You can go to designated Post office so that you can file application for all Central Govt. Department.

    I think on line submission of form is still awaited.

    There is no such unique authority to provide all types of info. Every govt department/undertaking is a separate entity by itself and information in repsect of their functioning can be obtained only from them. There is no such online facility available as at present.
