we have collected information from various authorities like Punjab pollution board, Sangrur MC, Sangrur Pollution control board office, regarding the implementation of important law Municipal Solid Waste( Management & Handling) Rules 2000 & filed a Public Interest Litigation in High Court of Punjab & Haryana in which notice to Deputy Commissioner Sangrur, EO Sangrur, Secretary Local Body Punjab & other has been issued. this is sucess of
RTI law. all we have done to for the filing of this public interest litigation is, file a few
RTI applications, collect information & put that information before High Court. thats all a wonder of
RTI power.
