I have been claiming no tax benefits for the last 2 years. My entire salary is being taxed except for the pf that is deducted at source. Now i realize that I could have claimed atleast the HRA exemption - i could have easily saved 12000 on taxes in a year. I want to know if for the FY 06-07, can i still claim IT return. While filing my returns I did not claim any refunds then. Please advise. Thanks!     |
