EPF Lost cheques

Hi,

I had requested for EPF cheques to be deposited in my citibank saving account. PF Dept, Pune gave me the details of the cheques and RL no. These cheques havent been received by my bank. Pls. let me know how can i track these cheques.

U should immediately inform PF office to stop payment of these cheques, since the cheques can be encashed by fraudusters and will make the matter complicated. Pl also request PF Office to issue fresh cheques to you. In case if your request is delayed inordinately by PF Office you may file RTI application by refering to:

U can additionally file complaint of non-delivery with the post office of your area to enquire about delivery of registered post, details of which pf office has conveyed to U.
