How to use the RTI to get the required information

    Hi ,

I am a ex-service man who is re-employed in defence services. I have a issue running with the "COUNTING OF TEMPORARY SERVICE" for which my counter parts working in the same office have got the required court orders ,but the CADRE CONTROLLING AUTHORITY are demanding me to get court orders saying that the orders passed for the counter parts are not applicable for me and i have to personally goto to court and get the same orders in my name for them to process the case. So i would like to know how i could use the RTI act to get the required infomation .So kindky give me the required infomation .

    Regards

Normally you may not be able to succeed if you claim that the court order specifically granting certain relief to a particular person to be applicable to you also. But you can find out the orders that granted that privilege to your collegue. It means the court has ratified that particular orders. Once aparticular orders are ratified by the court and it is implemented by your office, there is no reason for them to show any descrimination. There are many ways to solve the issue.

    1. You may write a polite petition to your department seeking parity of treatment. ie., the particular orders under which your collegue given certain reliefs be made applicable to your also.

    2. You may seek personal interview of your head of office and apprise him the position

    3. If nothing workds, you may make a fresh RTI application later seeking the status and action taken on your petition referred 1 above.
