Got Passport Thanks to RTI India

Hi,
Iam Raghavan From coimbatore. my story of Passport

Passport Issued - Year 2000
Passport Submitted to Trichy Office For address verification - 2001 Jan/ Feb
Follow up by personal visit - Since 2001 to 2008 ( USELESS)
Registered in RTI India and asked the office to transfer file to chennai - Aug 2008
Visited chennai office - Sep 2008 ( No use)
Sent a Lr for Issue of P.Port through RTI - nOV 2008
Got reply to visit - Jan 2009
Visited office - Jan 2009
PV done - March 2009
a follow up lr under RTI - May 2009
Reply - June 2009 ( as it will be issued after PV recd)
Recd P.Port - Aug 2009.

But it is of the same old Address (Madurai). I wrtie to Officer concerned and he has not replied directly for change of Address and extension of the re issue date as it is close to a decade to get Passport. So iam writing First Appeal to New delhi to review my date and change of Address.Give u a Follow up. So, people dont worry we r getting issues resolved which is of a decade old. dont give up. fight it. FYI i started to write under RTI for Voters ID issue and IT Returns too. A REALLY BIGGGGGGGGGG........... THANKSSSSS........ TOOOOOOO......RTI INDIA...............JAI HO.............JAI HO.......

Pl help others in use of RTI to solve problems with govt offices and to sensitise babus for being pro-citizen.
