Maharashtra Government to hold District Collectors responsible for RTI Implementation
Maharashtra Government has issued a circular dated 01 September 2009 holding District Collectors responsible for the implementation of RTI Act in their respective districts. Each IAS level office who is the DC will also be evaluated in their Annual Reports bearing in mind the prformance vis-a-vis RTI implementation.
