Want to know if i come under non-creamy layer

Hello Everybody!

My father is a selection grade lecturer in a private aided college in Karnataka. His income so fas hasn't exceeded Rs 2.5 lakhs p.a. and caste-wise I belong to OBC. He gets UGC salary and Karnataka hasn't implemented 6th pay commission recommendations yet.

My question is does my father belong to Group "A"/Class"I" - and am i not eligible to claim reservation under OBC quota-in spite of annual income of the family being less than specified limit?

Hope you clear my doubts regarding this.

even if your father is a selection grade lecturer in a private aided college in Karnataka.now the ceiling is 4.5 laks. from other than the salary. (and agri income shall not be clubbed .govt servant income from salary should not be taken in to account .)

your father should not be recruited very directly to a Group "A"/Class"I" -or B OR Class"II" AT ANY AGE

IF HE PROMOTED TO THAT Group "A"/Class"I" -or B OR Class"II" OFFICER POST AFTER HIS AGE OF 41 .YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR OBC. YOU ARE NOT A CREAMY LAYER

My father is RETIRED Principal in a Govt. Jr. Colege with annual income of less than Rs. 2.5lacs. Do I come under Creamy Layer.

Children of Gazetted Officers are in Creamy Layer.
