Hi:
I am pleased to see this forum. I think RTI is a pathbreaker in bringing some accountability to those who hold public offices.
We recently tried using RTI in our society to bring a neighbouring illegal construction to halt. BBMP (Bangalore's Muncipal Corporation) immediately brought it to halt - we told them we are filing RTI among other things.
Such is the power!
