Orders made by a deposed Judge
Instances of defects in appointment of Presidents of consumer Forums and removal of the Presidents are on the increase. By act 29A of Consumer Protection Act 1986 their orders given in their tenure can not be invalidated. Many litigants whose cases are genuine were dismissed. The only way is to appeal to higher forum. Section 30A empowers NCDC to issue new regulations on the act which will be approved by Parliament. Suppose a suggestion is to be made to NCDC by a consumer or an association of consumes that a regulation can be made so that effected the orders issued by unfit Presidents be reviewed by a separate retired Judge, to whom such request is to be sent? ...
