Regarding Non creamy layer Dear Sir,
Greetings. I understand that the ceiling limit for cearmy layer had been fixed as Rs.4.5 lakhs.
My question is whether it is applicable to governments' servants.
I am a Professor in TamilNadu Agricultural University (Autonomous)governed by Govt of Tamil Nadu; Since autonomous we are not gazetted officer but for the salary ceiling ;my annual salary crossed 4.5 lakhs due to and my wife also employed as a teacher in Municipal Girls' Higher
Secondary School.
Now my query is 1) whether my wife comes under creamy layer
2) I was not directly recruited as Class I officer
3) If both husband and wife are government servants(employed) sons/ daughter come under creamy layer
Kindly clarify and give some reference so as to get any certificate.

APPEAL: Use RTI to get Information from Private/Public Unaided Schools to stop violation of norms in Education. Private Schools are under the Purview of RTI--CIC.
