Need help on getting a duplicate birth certificate - Ahmedabad.

Hi All,

I am Vish, from Ahmedabad, I have lost all my original documents one of which is the birth certificate and ration card.

Can someone let me know whats the procedure for getting a duplicate one or to get a new for both of them.

I don't think there is anything like duplicate birth certificate. In Goa, I just apply to the panchayat/municipality/sub-registrar (wherever is registered) and get one whenever it is needed, and everytime, it is original.
