sir, i have taken discharge from indian air force after completing 13 years 11 months. and joined lic of india in direct recruitment in open category. along with me in the same zone 5 to 6 candidates joined lic of india, but divisions are different. after completion of my probation i have applied for pay protection, along with my batch mate in neighbour division. i have not been given pay protection stating that i have not joined lic of india in ex-servicemen quota, where as my batch mate has been given with pay protection. is that specified that until unless individual has not been enrolled under ex-servicemen quota, that particular individual is not to be given pay protection. in central office circular of lic of india doesn't mentioned it its entirety about quota. pls guide me. with regards.

I am subhankar, an SBI clerical cadre 2010 aspirant, basically an ex-serviceman, availing the benefits of it after retirement. today the bank officials have given us an affidavit stating that i have to declare that I have not joined in any govt job after retirement temporary or permanent so as to judge my ex-serviceman status. many a friends of mine have been working in PSU banks and have resigned with in the adhoc/probation period to get an appointment in SBI. it also important to mention that we have a DoPT circular O.M. No. 36034/21/87-Estt(SCT), dated the 7th November 1989, which saya QUOTE "Second time benefit to the ex-servicemen who have already secured jobs in Autonomous bodies/PSU/Govt. offices on casual/contract/Temporary ad hoc basis and who can be removed from such services at any time by their employer concerned- will be reconsidered for second time benefit to secure another govt job availing ex-servicemen benefits". UNQUOTE. But now the bank is telling us that they have received a fax from the HO to stop giving appointment letter to the ex-servicemen, unless they give a deceleration on stamp paper approved by First Class Judicial Magistrate, that we have not secured any job in the above said depts till now. Now plz guide us whether there is any latest amendment made to the quoted DoPT Circular, stating that ex-servicemen are no more eligible for appointment if they left the job being a temporary/ ad hoc employee or in probation period in case of bank. please help urgently as it has become a serious issue for ex-servicemen applying for govt services.
