Question RTI Application to Income Tax CPIO at KOLKATA

I want to know the method to pay the fees of Rs.10/- for RTI Application to CPIO (CIT-Income Tax) acceptable in KOLKATA. Is it by CASH or IPO??
In Kolkata IT office no one seems to be aware of RTI and the officials at Help Desk cannot guide in this matter. Their reply is: "What is RTI? This is IT office." Can anyone confirm in what form the RTI Application fees is accepted in KOLKATA Income Tax office?
