Dear Sir, namaskar. Recently a friend of mine who is a serving army officer was assaulted by some college students in Indore. During the scuffle my friend lost his I card. This I card is govt property and loss of I card would result in my friend facing administrative action , which shall amount to loss of seniority by 6 months. Now my friend has lodged a FIR with the police and he is sure that one of the college student has snatched his I card but the police is not acting on his complaint because that college student is politically well connected. Sir, how can RTI help my friend in recovering of his I card, because his career will suffer in case his I card is not recovered in time? I seek your urgent help. Also the culprits who attacked my friend have got away scot free and police is on the verge of closing down the case. How can police be prevented from prematurely closing down the case.
regards
savyasachi
