Correction in aplication in appeal?
Can an applicant include a small correction in the original application while filing the first appeal?

If the correction is insignificant or does not change the nature of query, then perhaps you can point the mistake and ask to consider the application with suggested correction.Sponsorer
However, such correction insert new question or query, then it may be treated as fresh application or appeal.
Read the following judgment of the CIC on that point.
There are also three fresh questions raised in the first appeal by Shri Arora. Normally appellant would have been asked to submit a fresh application with regard to this together with the requisite fee. However, because appellant Shri Arora has already been given the run around because of a failure to recognize the information sought in the original application, the questions raised in first appeal are now treated as a fresh application and DCP Central Shri Alok Kumar is directed to treat this as such, and process this accordingly.
