how much it needs to be paid?

hi friends im in need of right person to go foward with RTI of tamilnadu circle-pondicherry bsnl ,

how do i know how much page they ll need to reply me?
how should i pay 2 rs for each page? i mean whether to pay them while submitting the application? is it possible to pay other than approaching bank for getting DD or pay order like bcuz i going to use towards bsnl which i found info saying it s possible to pay by voucher. but the employees saying that they dont no about it.

i couldnt drill through the tamil nadu circle to get pondicherry pio or concerned person for pondicherry circle which comes under the category of tamil nadu..

when i approached the bsnl employees they simply said that they were unaware of the person, since they want to be in safer side.. even public grievance cell did the same.

BSNL is PA under Central Govt. so RTI (application and additional) fee can be paid by Indian Postal Order in favour of "ACCOUNTS OFFICER".
.

While filing RTI application, applicant needs to apply with application fee only and it is the duty of PIO to inform application about the additional fee (photocopy charges)

For help in locating PIO, please see: HOW TO LOCATE A PIO UNDER RTI ACT 2005 - RTI Guide . If still u dont find the details of correct PIO, file with any PIO of BSNL and request him/her to forward the same to correct PIO under the provisions of RTI Act.

all the infos that u given seems to be very useful to me..

but still im not clear with one question

pondicherry comes under tamilnadu circle.. if i send the application to any PIO of BSNL and ask him/her to forward to concerned person since it seems to be very difficult to locate the right person for pondicherry, for which place i have to get postal order?? i mean Accounts officer of which location? shall i get the postal order for the location whom i am sending my application to forward??

i dont no whether there s a PIO for pondicherry branch, it may comes under tamilnadu circle.. but not sure.. nevertheless there s an accounts officer for pondicherry section..

which location or address i have to mention in postal order ??

I think that Puducherry comes under Tamil Nadu Circle as far as BSNL is concerned.

There is a CAPIO in BSNL Puducherry, who is Nr. 9 in the list available here:

The corresponding PIO is Nr. 2 on the list.

You can call him up and get the payment details , etc.
