Unfortunately I am utterly dissapointed with RTI Act itself in as mush as when CIC order is defied, CIC finds itself helpless or it simply ignores it.


In my case, the PIO concerned is guilty on two counts as under, and yet no action what-so-ever has been taken against him:-


1) PIO not only failed to comply with CIC order, he showed complete contempt to it by not even sending compliance report to CIC in breach of CIC order.


2) After my several mails when CIC once again convened my hearing, the PIO escaped by saying that the information is not traceable. CIC ordered him to submit an affidavit, but the PIO has once again not complied with the order. After my complaint, followed with several reminders, all the CIC has done is simply send a reminder to PIO, which I am sure will find way to PIO's dust bin only.


I do not know whether the institution of CIC is weak or the CIC concerned (in my case Mrs. Annapurna Dixit) is unwilling to take action against the PIO.


For your ready reference, I am attaching herewith my RTI application and the CIC order.


I hope that if your office takes up the matter with CIC, then perhaps things will move.
