Post disappointed with the reply I got from RBI PIO

    Hello,

I am terribly disappointed with the reply I got from RBI PIO when I wrote to them seeking some information related to my home loan from ICICI bank.
Apparently, I read it on your site that if one needs to get information under RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT from ICICI bank, one needs to go through RBI because ICICI bank is not a govt body. However, RBI PIO wrote to me that it is not under the RTI ACT to collect individual customer's information from a non-nationalized bank.

You feel quite helpless after reading such information.

    Thank you.

    With best regards,
