Question: Vigilance Bureau Panjab

I am trying to find the name and address of PIO/APIO of Vigilance Bureau Panjab. There is a PIO for Vigilance Department Panjab but not for the Vigilance Bureau. It would be helpful if someone knows if there is PIO for Vigilance Bureau or if the matters are handled by the Vigilance Department.

If you see the following link, although the title is "Vigilance Bureau", the details given therein give the PIO/AA details of the Vigilance Department of Punjab:

In any case, if you send your RTI Application to the incorrect PIO, he is supposed to transfer the application to the correct PIO within 5 days under Sec 6(3).

Please also remember that your RTI Application has to be as per the RTI Rules of Punjab (be careful, these were recently modified). Please see:

BTW where does one get the FORM to ask for Information from the Panjab Government Department.

Don't worry ,Bureau also means a govt department. Normally when new members register with RTIIndia, we specifically request them to go through Forum Rules (bottom green border third from left), FAQ (top green border second from left) and RTI Act 2005 online,also RTI Guide (top right hand ,blue , last).
In your case atleast go through FAQ section , I assure you, you get all your answers including Form..
