Register yourself as a voter & state the correct age as a senior citizen which is 65 years as per central govt. Tax dept.Your age is displayed on the Voter's Identity card, which doubles up as a Id proof, Residence proof & senior citizens card too.Besides the Income tax pan card displays ur date of birth & name & this also doubles up as proof of ID & age of seniority given some quick calculations.

The post above is accurate. There is no special senior citizen card. You may apply for a passport which will display your age. Passport is supposed to be the best ID proof.

What is the age for a person to be called senior citizen in india?
Is there any uniformity as far as age is concerned for becoming senior citizen?
Why for the different departments consider different age of senior citizen?

age of sr.citizen for banks and post offices & for railways concession is 60 yrs. And not 65 yrs.
