can we file a complaint to CIC for the non compliance of its orders.

if yes, under which section of the Act. is there any fixed format for report the non compliance ?

Abhishek,

You can make a complaint under Sec 18(1)(f) for non-compliance.

Just visit CIC website and search for "non compliance" to see some of the complaints filed on such matters.

From the CIC website you will find a lot of instances where the Commission don't take it lightly to disobedience of it's orders.

So seek both penalty on the CPIO and compensation for detriments suffered by you.

i have gone through many such decisions & now i plan to move ahead accordinglg.

as per the orders of CIC the PIO sent me an invitation to sort the issue. the meeting was scheduled on 16/10/2008.

i went there. the PIO was very clear in his attitude. he clearly said that he wont issue me the passport and suggest me to report the matter to CIC.
