Guest permission reduced over forums.
We have decided to prevent guest permission to access the forum discussion area, hence guests and who are not logged in would not have permission to view the forum posts except for the announcements.
The primary reason is to prevent bandwidth leakage and to make RTI India participatory and interactive. Many guest visit RTI India, without any participation and stamp of visit but steal valuable bandwidth. The statistics would prove this.
Out of an average of more than 50 news visitors per day, the number of total page views of the website is more than 35000 per day.
As the registration is just to make visitors participatory and is open to all, hence giving privilege only to Registered Members for forum posts, in our view would make this place more meaningful.

In yet another small modification we have stopped guests, awaiting email confirmation, COPPA awaiting confirmation and banned users from being able to access FAQ. So only registered members will have access to FAQ.
