Change in date of birth on birth certificate
My birth certificate was issued by Tinsukia district, Assam. The date of birth on it is incorrect. What is the procedure for getting this corrected and a new birth certificate issued?
Also, since I currently live in the U.S., is there any way to get this done without my physical presence, say by giving someone Power of Attorney to represent me?
