Information sought
In reply to information sought can the PIO give the excuse that the staff is on leave or the staff is on strike which will be taken as a period for increasing the period of the reply from 30 days to additional period of the strike

30 days is 30 calendar days.
Besides, "administrative difficulties" cannot be cited for delay.
There is a Madras high Court judgment on this.
