CIC does not display PIO Name Board

Just found out today that the two CIC offices in New Delhi - AK Bhawan and Old JNU Campus do not have any boards indicating the PIO.

Hence filed the attached RTI Application today.

If an applicant wants to file a RTI application and pay the application fees in cash, the procedure is:

1. Pay fees in cash in Room Nr. 302 at AK Bhawan to Ms. Meenakshi.
2. She will state on your application and the copy that Rs. 10.00 cash received.
3. Take the application to the inward department located at the old JNU campus and submit the application there and get the copy stamped.

Got a reply to the RTI.

It says that the name Boards are located at:

1. In AK Bhawan, the name board is locted at opposite the Lift door on the 2nd Floor.
2. In the Old JNU campus, it is located at the entrance gate, Block iV

Can some member please reconfirm this on the next visit to CIC ?
