Get yourself better informed about the Nagas!! - ATI organising special trainings on RTI ATI organising special trainings on RTI Kohima, June 4 (DIPR): The Administrative Training Institute, Kohima is organising special trainings on Right to Information (RTI) exclusively for PIOs, APIOs and Appellate Authorities/other officers in four batches during 2008-09. The trainings will be held during June 18-20 and from July 9-11; from July 28-30 and from Sept. 10-12. Letters have already been sent out to all departments in the Secretariat and Directorates to nominate PIOs/APIOs/Appellate Authorities/other officers for the training on the above mentioned dates and also to send the list of PIOs/APIOs/Appellate Authorities in the prescribed format for preparation of Directory. The State Nodal Officer (RTI) and Course Coordinator, ATI Kohima, has stated that this will be the last such training in Kohima. Next year onwards, RTI training shall be conducted for the other districts. Moreover, invitation of nominations are also being sent out to various NGOs, CSOs, media, peoples’ groups and other social activists, etc. for one-day training on RTI on June 24 and August 8, 2008. The ATI has also invited other interested NGOs, CSOs, media, peoples’ groups and other social activists etc. to avail the opportunity by sending the list of names of the intending participants to ATI at the earliest for making necessary preparations. |
