(A) Initial appointment as Tracer (Entry Grade) (Pay Scale: 260/- - 430/-) in May,1983. (B) Became Jr.Draughtsman (Pay Scale: 330/- - 560/-) in May,1988 after completing 5 years continuous service since Tracer post upgraded to Jr.D'man (New Entry Grade) as per Bd.'s order dt.16.11.1984. (C) Promoted to Sr.D'man (Selection Grade) (Pay Scale: 1400/- - 2300/-) in Sept. 1996 and again Jr.D'man post abolished as per 5th PC and simultaneously Sr.D/man post became Entry Grade. (D) Promoted to Hd. D'man (J.E.-I)[Non-Selection Grade] (Pay Scale: 5500/- - 9000/-) and again J.E.-II & J.E.-I merged vide 6th PC which is now Entry Grade (G.P.-4200/-) in Drawing Office.
In such case different Railways granted different MACP schemes. Such as -
S.Rly. granted 2 up-gradations - G.P. 4600/- in 1st MACP and G.P. 4800/- in 2nd MACP considering that they did not get any promotion in 26+ years' of service.
E.Co.Rly. granted 1 up-gradation - G.P. 4600/- in 2nd MACP considering that they got one promotion in their 26+ years' of service.
S.E.Rly. granted 1 up-gradation - G.P. 4600/- in 3rd MACP considering that they got two promotions in their 26+ years' of service.
Can anyone clarify which one is correct?
