Indemnity bond - Is it mandatory ? Recently , Chairman of the managing committee of our housing scty put up a notice announcing dissolution of the existing committee without assigning any reasons . A new committee has just been constituted with consensus candidates without elections ( as no nominations were received for the elections)
The erstwhile members of the committee had not submitted any Indemnity bond to the dy registrar of society on their assuming office in 2006.
Is it mandatory to submit indemnity bonds by the new members of committee. ? What about the lapse on part of earlier members .?
rgds,
Ravi
