I had applied for my son's (minor below 15 years)passport on 30-11-2007 and till date I have not received his passport even after numerous e-mail/personal visits to RPO and giving in writing.I have gone through the threads of various members regarding and this has encouraged me to make an application under RTI.
My query : Has any member paid cash on application for RTI application at RPO Hyderabad or a DD is required. And name of the PIO at RPO Hyderabad.Thanks

try to send your RTI application by speed post alongwith a DD of Rs. 10/-. (Keep a record of xerox copies of all the documents & the speed post receipt)

In case you are close to somewhere near the GPO, you can use the Post Office route to submit your RTI Application as indicated by mgopik in the above thread.
