    Not a bad order. One may like to interpret it as a mild rebuke. Hope the apex court takes the cue and acts. But what about notifying the Rules? Presumably the order covers that aspect also. Kudos to the perseverance of Mr Karira.

    Actually the order does not accurately reflect the "mood" during the hearing.
    I expected the CIC to actually direct the SC to notify the rules asap. That is what he said during the hearing, but the order only mentions it in passing.

    It is a sad state of affairs that the Supreme Court has not complied with the CIC order on Sec 4 disclosure as well as notifying its RTI Rules in the official gazette.

    Finally had to send a Complaint of Non Compliance to the CIC.

    It is attached to this post.

    Wish you all the best. But is it not very distressing? But as I already pointed out in my post #66 above. Supreme Court has not technically violated the order as far as publishing the rules atleast, perhaps.
