Need Help: land records in chennai reg

hi,
this is hussain from chennai. my granduncle owns some land in chennai. for t given land we have t property tax recipts in my grandmothers and others name. t person who was a tenant of t land had sold t superstructure 2 us. we also have those papers. now my question is
1. where do i get t information about the particular land?
2. how do i get t patta for t land?
3. how do i change t name of my grandmother from t paper 2 t name of those who r alive?
