SIR . I REQUEST ALL EXPERT MEMBERS TO KINDLY HELP AND GUID ME ABOUT MINIMUM WAGES ACT. Govt officers normally duck under the fact tha contract labourers are not employed by the officer calling the tender but they are employed by the contractor.However as far as I know principal employer remains the tender calling authority. PLEASE GUID ME . WHO IS RESPONSIBLE IF MINIMUM WAGES ARE NOT PAID? CONTRACTOR OR OFFICER ?
