I have managed to get some info regarding the corrupt practices in a Govt. Dept. The thing is that every one in that department from top to bottom are involved in this money minting practice. Would like to know what is the use of such information which cannot bring corrupt officials to justice. Should I make a new request to the vigilance department of that particular office under the RTI Act asking about the details of actions being contemplated by it against the erring officials. Is there any other way in which this info can be used. Please help.      |

You can use the information obtained through RTI as a base and background for filing a compliant with the Anti Corruption Bureau or the Vigilance Department. Give some time to those departments to act on your complaint and if nothing transpires, you can then file a RTI with them to get information on the progress of your complaint. Be ready for a long battle....... |
