Result Of Hearing Of Appeal

SIR,
I ASKED DEPUTY DIRECTOR, SOCIAL WELFARE DEPARTMENT, MAHARASHTRA STATE, PUNE FOR THE PROGRESS MADE ON MY FILE SUBMITTED IN THE YEAR 2005 REGARDING TRANSFER OF MEMBERSHIP. DID NOT GIVE REPLY UP TO 2007. FILED R.T.I. FORM AND SUBMITTED TO P.I.O. DEPUTY DIRECTOR, SOCIAL WELFARE DEPARTMENT, MAHARASHTRA STATE, PUNE. INSTEAD OF GIVING INFORMATION ON PROGRESS MADE ON MY FILE, HE GAVE ME THE REPLY AS WHAT IS THE PROCEEDURE TO SUBMIT THE FILE WHICH I UNDER GONE AND THEN SUBMITTED THE FILE. ON RECEIVING SUCH REPLY I WENT FOR FIRST APPEAL. FOR HEARING I WAS CALLED TO PUNE BY GIVING ME ENOUGH TIME TO ATTEND THE HEARING. WHEN I WENT FOR HEARING, DEPUTY DIRECTOR DID NOT ATTEND GIVING EXCUSE THAT HE WAS BUSY IN ATTENDING OTHER DELIGATES AND IN HIS PLACE THE HEARING WAS ATTENDED BY HEAD CLERK.
IT WAS DECLARED BY THE FIRST APPEAL OFFICER THAT DEPUTY DIRECTOR IS AT GUILTY AND ABOUT PROGRESS MADE ON MY FILE SHOULD BE INFORMED TO ME WITHIN SEVEN DAYS. ON MY COPY HE PUT A REMARK AS "FOR INFORMATION AND TAKING FURTHER ACTION" . AFTER 21DAYS I AGAIN APPROACHED THE DEPUTY DIRECTOR, HE SAID IT IS UNDER PROCESS BUT DID NOT GIVE ME ANYTHING IN WRITING.
NOW, ON PHONING FROM MUMBAI SEVERAL TIMES, HE GIVES ME ONLY ONE REPLY THAT YOUR FILE IS UNDER PROCESS.
CAN ANY ONE LET ME KNOW WHAT IS FURTHER ACTION TO BE TAKEN.

The best and the fastest solution would be to send a "reminder" to the FAA alongwith all details of your follow up.

Clearly inform him that the time given by him to the PIO of 7 days is over on........and as of.......there is still no information recieved from the PIO. Ask him to take stringent disciplinary action against the PIO for disobeying the orders of a superior officer and a "quasi-judicial authority".

The longer procedure would be to go for a Second Appeal to the SIC.

Better to resolve the issue at the FAA level before thinking of Second Appeal.

Thanks a lot for your guidence.
The second appeal to SIC is in process but It seems from your reply that it's action is time consuming and hence diverting it as "reminder" to FAA.
