Dear Arun, As you have written it is a Govt. refund but have not given any other details. Please post the complete details so that one of us can help you in drafting the RTI application. you can also go thru a number of posts on this form wherein specimens of RTI application are given. |

Mr.Arun, If you have written letters and reminders for refund from govt agency and they are not responding, please refer my blog "any thing pending with govt?" and rush RTI application. If it is central govt matter, you may find format and guidelines in my other blog on central govt info. If matter relates to state govt, you have to follow state rules as to format, fee and mode of payment by visiting official portal of state govt or of state info commission. For UP/Gujarat/Tamilnadu I have posted RTI rules and formats in my blog. One year back Rs.50 lakhs refund from defence agency pending for nearly 7-8 years by a supplier was obtained in 3-4 months through RTI. All the best to U.
