How to check my EPF balance?

This query should rightly be raised in the other site "Big Helpers". RTIINDIA.ORG is dedicated to RTI related queries only. By the way, you can check the EPF balance from your annual account statement provided by the EPFO. Otherwise, some of the Regional Offices of the EPFO provide on-line balance knowing facility also. You may check with their website. All EPF offices have their website.

Wecome to this portal Mr. Mitra. Pl navigate to have a feel of power of RTI for the common man of India.
As on today U cannot access your pf account on line or on phone. U need to apply to concerned pf office for balance in pf account. However, as per pf rules, employee should get statement of account every year from pf office through his employer. If U are not getting, pl complain in the letter addressed for balance of pf account. If no reply is received within 30-35 days, shoot RTI application, by referring to my blog 'any thing pending with govt?' , “ RTI application for central govt info.” and guide section on home page. U need to pay Rs.10/- by Indian postal order available in post office in favour of “PF Commissioner, EPFO” payable at the place where application is submitted. Good luck to U.
