Sir
I sought information from cpio of oriental insurence co. for my claim case which was pending in consumer court,CPIO refused to provide me sought information saying that "as the matter is sub judice in consumer court than they cannot provide information as per provisions of RTI Act,i appealled before FAA but mean while my case which was pending in consumer court was decided and i have to suffer a lot due to non providing of required information, in my First appeal i requested to FAA to punish the quilty officer/CPIO i also mentioned in my first appeal that now sought information has become infructous but i want to got punish quilty CPIO who wrongly denied to providing me information simply saying that matter is sub judice so that they cannot provide information, this is clear cut violation of RTI provision, simply being a matter is sub judice, this is not a ground to deny information as per latest judgment of CIC.FAA disposed off my appeal saying that as the sought information has now become infructous,in view of this point they have disposed off my appeal. In fact they didnot consider this fact that due to non providing information i loose my case in consumer court and i suffered a lot,its true that sought information has become infructous but it is due to quilty CPIO ,now i want to file 2nd appeal plz provide me latest judgment....
