i had applied for a pio passport for my husband and daughter from dutch origin in may 2006 and made a payment of 23000 rs by chq.till date the FRRO has no clue as they are waiting for an approval from the home ministry.i would now like to cancel my application and get the refund with due interest.FRRO refuses to do that as they don't know who will take responsibility. please get my application cancelled and due refund. Please contact the following authority. They must be having all the records of your application. Joint Secretary (Foreigners), Ministry of Home Affairs, Jaisalmer House, 26, Man Singh Road, New Delhi – 110011. You may also file a RTI application which should be addressed to the following : Shri B..V. Gopinath, Director Ministry of Home Affairs Jaisalmer House, New Delhi-110011 Tel: 2338 9286 You may question them about the status of your application, reason for delay, whether a refund is allowed, procedure for refund etc. A draft/IPO for Rs. 10 in favor of Accounts Officer, Ministry of Home Affairs should be attached to RTI application.
