    Dear Dinesh

Please see: Madhya Pradesh RTI Rules and Fees and MPSIC - RTI Guide

RTI fee: Rs. 10/- by Cash or Non Judicial Stamp.

Always file RTI application with application fee (as per rule/in your case its Rs.10) only if additional charges have to be paid the PIO will inform u the same in writing. U need to pay additional charges then only.

    Re: postal order

the practical difficulty is that many times non judicial stamps are not available. So can I send Rs. 10/- in cash along with the application by post.

    Dear Dinesh

U can try MO (instead of sending cash) for this.

    Re: postal order

Moderator had already provided you the detailed info. However, I feel that as your application has not been entertained by the public authority, you should directly go ahead with this plea to the Appellate Authority that inspite of the State RTI rules, your application is not being entertained.

Moderator may please throw some light on this.
