The same sort of situation prevailed with the HAP, Ambala Cantt. The Commandant is the PIO. A RTI Application was filed against the corrupt deeds of the Commandant, undr section 6(1) read with the Section 24 of the RTI Act.Sponsorer
Since the most of the information related to the Deeds of the PIO himself, he denied the information being a security organization appearing in the Second Schedule as well as information u/s 8(1)(e) & (j). FAA concurred with him. Second appeal is awaiting attention of CSIC Mr. G. Madhwan, who has very soft corner for the bureaucrats and the men in uniform.
