Re: Suggetion regarding Complaint to State Information Commission
When you are talking about "Complaint" to State information Commission, Chandigary, I am sure you are referring to either Punjab or Haryana state. In case of Chandigarh administration, as it is a UT, the next option beyond first appellate authority would be Central Information commisssion ( the last sentence is subject to correction by the moderator if it is incorrect).Sponsorer
When you were repeatedly refering to this complant and that complant ---RTI Complaint, complaint to the appellate authority and so on ---- i was just thinking is it correct to refer to innocent RTI applications (by which our fellow countrymen are learning to ask questions, which they never dared in the past!!) as complaint. Please give this a thought.
And please do read
Complaint against whom ?
And now reply to your question ---yes, you must send the copies of letters written to PIO and First appellate authority. And also enclose the responses received from those officers. That is important ---it becomes easy for the Commission to decide whether to admit the case or to just dispose it off.
So, all the very best to you ---------please take care while using word "complaint" for RTI purposes ----the authorities feel as if the applicant is using something against them while in fact it is not the case ---the applicant is well within his rights to ask for an information. I feel that only one area where Complaint word can be used is in case of Complaint to CIC. What do you feel?

Re: Suggetion regarding Complaint to State Information Commission
Dear Sarbjeet
1. U can file both (Second appeal cum complaint).
2. Copies of second appeal (cum complaint) are to be served to PIO and FAA to enable them to defend themselves before the commission.
regards

Appliaction to State Information Commission Punjab
Dear All,
I have received no information to my application by PIO as well as FAA, I want to appeal to State Information Commission
What should be my subject matter when I am Going to file application with State Information Commission. Also my application was transferred to another PIO by Public authority to whom I applied for information but no information in writing was provided to me regarding this transfe. Just an annoying call from PIO that your application has been transferd.
1) Which PIO should I mention in Second Appeal
a. To the one I applied for
b. Or to whom it was transferred but no information in this regard was provided to me in
writing
2) What should be subject ----------Second Appeal or Compliant---------
3) I have received no information from PIO & FAA
4) Even sent reminder to both
5) How much more time will likely be taken to get required information through SIC, Punjab.
6) Should I ask for Penalties
