Need Help: Income tax refund for Assessment Year 2007*08

Hello all,

I had paid an excess tax of approx INR 9500 in financial year 2006-07 (Assessment year 2007-08). The same was shown as refund in the tax returns filed in July 2007. I have still not received the refund.

Can anyone help me with the following information
1. Where can I see the status of my refund?
2. How long does it take for refund to be credited to my bank account?
3. Can I follow up with someone to expedite the process of refund?

I appologise for the impatience that is portrayed through the reply "No luck still?". But please remember that being a first time member, I was just trying out the reply procedure to a thread and there is no more significance attached to it.
