| Kindly let me know the steps for downloading the new form.I tried but it does not work.the PDF FILE DOES NOT OPEN IT ONLY SAVES .HOW CAN I READ IT???? I agree with the idea of Maneesh. The form on the net should be available & easily accessible so that people can use it whenever they want.People can download it to file the applications. Many people still are unaware how to file the applications.Such forms can be a great help to them. Our main aim is to spread the awareness & make people use their fundamental right as much as possible in the right way. |

| It was based on RTI Act. Can you elaborate upon why would you not like it in the form?

There is no prescribed form under RTI Act. The sample form contains all the pre-requisites for the complete application. If they are ful-filled, no Public Authority can (ought to) reject the application.

Your above statement holds true only for Public Authorities covered under the central act. Various State govts. acts have prescribed forms which must be adhered to. Otherwise the application shall be rejected outright. Sidharth |

Even though it is true that the state government are rejecting the application not adhered to, it is not mandatory according to rule to reject any application, if it is not in prescribed form, but which had followed all the procedure. Therefore I mentioned (ought to)! ![]()
